Coolit TCD Boxes (Temperature Controlled Distribution Box):
The term CTCD refers to the sequence of operation under which the perishable products are held and handled in turn by procedure, distributor and retailer. The intention of the system is to ensure that the temperatures maintained during distribution of the product until they reach the customers, are those consistent with the maintenance of high quality. In other words it is a system of transporting, storing and distributing perishable product in potent state at recommended temperatures from manufacturer to the point of use. Most of the sensitive, medicinal, pharmaceuticals and bio-chemical products lose their potency when exposed to undesirable temps and sunlight. To prevent sunlight from affecting the products is relatively easier but to keep them at prescribed temp is a difficult task. This maintenance of right temperature during all the operations of distributions including primary storage, interim storage and transportation is called 'CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE CHAIN DISTRIBUTION.'
Thermal Packaging & Testing:
Our designing team starts collecting information of your payload, shipping method and acceptable temperature range and excursion. Based on your requirement and our extensive knowledge of thermodynamics, material science, proprietary database of successful designs & software tools like solid works we develop optimal thermal solutions.
We analyze your total cold chain requirement - distribution, logistics and economics. We consider overall cost and cost effectiveness of the insulating material, refrigerant type & overall size, weight, ease in packing and type of shipment.
Once our design is ready it is put under testing, thermally mapping your prototype payload area and monitoring the temperature. We refine and improve our designs if required. The final prototype or your packaging system is put under pre-qualification or trial. A successful pre-qualification test assures us that the packing design is complete and ready for your thorough field trial. We keep you involved at all the stages & may also conduct the trials in your environmental chambers.
